I make a lot of juice using apples – it is one of my favourite juices. Sometimes I have it on its own, but more usually I mix it with other fruit and vegetables such as carrots, celery, cucumber and beetroot.
To cut down on preparation time, I recently invested in an apple corer/dicer. This simple little device can be found in kitchen gadget shops or online at Amazon. If you have juicer with a relatively small food chute, it is great for preparing your produce quickly – the segments that it produces are an ideal size for feeding into my Samson masticating juicer.
Plus points – great timesaver for people that prepare lots of apples
Negative points – one more piece of washing up!
